Beginning in 2019, with initial concept art and an idea of end-user application, CooperSwann re-designed each individual component for manufacture in close conjunction with WA Based client Iris Photo!
Build it, Re-Design, Trial, Build it Again!
Design and fabrication of new components is always iterative!
As has been the case with the IrisPhoto shop box.
Each design element has had to work seamlessly together, and each stage a learning curve.
The Shop-Box consists of multiple 3D printed components (combination of FDM and SLS for various properties), Matte-Black and frosted fabricated acrylic panels, mechanical linear motion, LED’s and electronics - each integrated together.
