Zero-Pucks-Wasted

The Street Roller Hockey League in Perth is an amazing social enterprise. It brings together like-minded hockey individuals to play inline hockey on converted bowls greens (Bayswater Bowls Club and Victoria Park Bowls Club).
The main puck of choice is the Green Biscuit, a great HDPE injection molded product, that is particularly tricky to get in Australia. Teams were going through minimum 4-5 pucks per season, with lots burning through many more.

A recycling enterprise was created to recover the damaged pucks and recycle them into new pucks, with some additional HDPE supplied from GreenBatch recycling (at the time). Recycled HDPE sheets were also utilsied to replace the Hockey-Boards at Bayswater in June of 2019, supplied by Replas and engineered by CooperSwann.
